Command Palette

Open any of the tools from a searchable command palette with Ctrl+Shift+K (Cmd+Shift+K on macOS) — never hunt through a menu.

When you'd use it

• Jump straight to the contrast checker without reaching for the mouse
• Switch between three tools quickly while auditing a page
• Find a tool by name when you cannot remember which category it sits in
• Keep your hands on the keyboard during a long review session

How to use Command Palette

1. Press Ctrl+Shift+K on any page — Cmd+Shift+K on macOS.
2. Type part of a tool name to filter.
3. Use the arrow keys to move, Enter to launch.
4. Press Escape to dismiss without running anything.

Can I change the shortcut?

Yes. Chrome lets you rebind extension shortcuts from its Extensions → Keyboard shortcuts page.

Does it work on every page?

It works anywhere the extension can run, which is everywhere except browser internal pages like the New Tab page and the Chrome Web Store.
